Megan Mullally Mercedes Crash Equals Lawsuit

An earlier Mercedes car crash involving former Will & Grace star Megan Mullally has prompted a lawsuit filed against the actress for allegedly driving through a red light and crashing into another car in 2009.

Wendy Kim claims her Mercedes incurred almost $15,000 worth of damage from the accident, in which both women sustained minor injuries.
Kim has now filed legal documents at Los Angeles Superior Court demanding Mullally pays for the repair costs, but so far the actress has refused because she insists she is innocent of any wrongdoing.

Mullally claims the traffic light was yellow when she drove through it and that Kim’s “negligence” resulted in the crash, reports TMZ.com.

A hearing is to be held in April.

Miss San Antonio, who was stripped of her crown for eating too many tacos and gaining weight as well as other infractions, was temporarily reinstated on Friday.
Domonique Ramirez, 17, had sued organizers of the Miss San Antonio pageant, whose winner gets a shot at becoming Miss Texas and possibly Miss America. Pageant officials removed Ramirez as Miss San Antonio last month after telling the teenager she violated numerous rules of her contract.

The list has allegations that Ramirez was late for several events and missed appearances. The most contentious: that the 5-foot-8, 129-pound college student had added a few inches to her size-2 figure since being crowned in April. Ramirez, who wears a size 2 and is 5-foot-8, said a pageant official told her to “get off the tacos” and lose 13 pounds if she wanted to keep her crown.
Ramirez claims she is at the same weight she was a pageant time- 129 pounds.
This ruling keeps Ramirez on the throne pending a hearing next week on whether to reinstate her permanently.

MEGAN Fox is disappearing before our eyes.
Sources say the actress — who’s married to actor Brian Austin Green — has the same waist size as her eight-year-old stepson Kassius after she put herself on an extremely strict 1,000 calorie-a-day diet.
Megan apparently weighs just 7st 4lb.

“She’s wearing tiny jeans,” a Megan insider told Britain’s Now magazine.
“Meg might like the way her body looks, but her legs are too thin and she won’t listen to anyone who tries to tell her to put on weight.
“She’s happy with the way she looks and says she’s eating balanced meals.
“Megan loves sushi. She’s not eating anything bad — just not eating enough.”
This isn’t the first time Megan’s weight has been a talking point.
Reports last year claimed the star was left furious when Transformers director Michael Bay told the actress she looked “unhealthy” and that he wanted her to put on weight for the third film in the movie franchise — and that’s why she quit the project.
“Megan stormed out after a huge row with Michael Bay,” a source told British newspaper The Sun.
“He thinks she has lost too much weight and looks too frail. He wanted her to put on some weight and it all kicked off.
“The crew don’t think she looks well, let alone the wholesome, curvy star they cast in the first film.
“She’s going for this gaunt, pale image and it just looks unhealthy.”

Unfortunately, the goal of Osaka University's AFFETTO was to create a robot modeled after a young child that could produce realistic facial expressions in order to endear it to a human caregiver in a more natural way. Impressive, sure, but we're not ready to let it suckle from our teat just yet.

LiquidKeyboard - Keyboard, Which Itself Adapts to the User

Early versions of LiquidKeyboard, developed using HTML and javascript, much like the virtual keyboard from Microsoft, the main distinguishing feature of which was the division of blocks "buttons for left and right hands.
Later Christian Sax and Hannes Lau began working on a system for iOS, but they claim that their software can be adapted for other platforms - products Apple has been chosen because of iPad tablet with its multi-functional. According to the creators LiquidKeyboard, the most significant advantage of the hardware keyboard is the fact that the user feels and, later, remembers the layout of buttons. Because of the lack of tactile contact, on-screen keyboard can not provide this effect, it should go the other way, namely to make the characters adapt to the position of the fingers. The keyboard, proposed by Sachs and Lau, all letters and symbols are divided into small groups for each finger. With this software can track the location of the fingers, and adjust its position blocks of keys. In addition, LiquidKeyboard adapts to the individual physical parameters of each user, such as brush size and characteristics of the location of the fingers. Currently working on a new keyboard is continuing, but the authors of the idea hope that soon they will be able to bring the technology to mind.
