Ashton Kutcher debuts on Two and a Half Men
Ashton Kutcher debuts on Two and a Half Men. CBS' goodbye to Charlie Sheen is a fictional death sentence by being hit by a subway train.

Said Rose, his obsessed neighbor on "Two and a Half Men," Sheen's character Charlie Harper's "body just exploded like a balloon full of meat."
Television's most popular comedy ended the months-long mystery of how the fired Sheen's character would be written out of the series and his replacement, Ashton Kutcher, written in. Sheen played a millionaire ad writer Charlie Harper with Jon Cryer his live-in brother and Angus T. Jones playing Cryer's son. Series creator Chuck Lorre seemed to get revenge for Sheen's spectacular, insult-spewing exit with a funeral scene where Cryer said it's a sad day for everyone.

Said one woman at the wake: "Speak for yourself."
