Colorado Rockies Aurora Shooting Tribute - This was the scene before Colorado’s game Friday night in San Diego, where Petco Park held a moment of silence for the victims of the theater shooting in Aurora, Colo.
The Rockies put the date “7-20″ on their eye black. They also hung a jersey in the dugout which read “We Remember 7-20.”
“I’ve reached out to University Hospital where a lot of the injured went and offered anything, not knowing if there is anything we can do,” Rockies owner and CEO Dick Monfort told MLB.com. “Our thoughts and prayers go out. That’s really all we can do, pray for the families of those that lost somebody and those that have a family member that is in critical or any kind of condition.”
