Vanessa Hudgens Opens up About Her Split from Zac Efron

Vanessa Hudgens Opens up About Her Split from Zac Efron

Vanessa Hudgens admits distance doesn't always make the heart grow fonder.

A major factor leading to her split from longtime love Zac Efron last December was the pair's packed work schedules, which took them to opposite ends of the Earth at times.

"Long-distance relationships are hard no matter what," Hudgens tells the April issue of Shape, out March 21.

Unfortunately, there wasn't an app for that, says Hudgens, 22.
"When you don't have face-to-face time, it's just different. Having an iPhone helped, but it wasn't the same."

Although it's over, the relationship remains a significant one in her life.

"We grew up together," Hudgens says. "It was nice to have someone to share all of those experiences with." She adds of Efron, who visited her (as a friend) on the set of her new movie, Journey 2: The Mysterious Island, "It was a good thing. The relationship kept me grounded, and because I was with someone who knew me so well, I didn’t need to try to be someone I'm not."

The good news: The break-up left her virtually unscathed – and ready to get back out there.

"I hope by the time I'm 30 to have a husband and maybe a baby," she reveals. "I love children. They're so much fun, and I would have a blast spoiling them!"

Mystery over identity of young Hollywood actress caught taking cocaine on camera

Mystery over identity of young Hollywood actress caught taking cocaine on camera
Video of a mystery Hollywood actress caught snorting cocaine is being touted for sale - but her identity has not yet been disclosed.

The tape apparently shows 'footage that makes the Miley Cyrus bong video look like a Disney movie'.

The faces of the party-goers have been blurred in the video to protect the unnamed star.

RadarOnline are reporting that a young brunette is the subject of the potentially damaging video.

She is wearing a pink tank top and a black and white cardigan.

A table lined with piles of cocaine and rolled up $100 bills used for snorting the drug is also visible in the shocking video.

Martini and shot glasses are also littered around the table and the revellers snort the coke as well as swiping their fingers through it.

A source told RadarOnline that the mystery actress is not the only well known person on the tape: 'There is more than one famous person in the footage'.

The mysterious girl is with a blonde woman and two young men.

One of the unknown men shouts in the video: 'Look how f***ing high I am... I'm going to snort out a f***ing one!'

Please don't do it', the other man laughs back to him.

'You know how many n****** have put their hands on that shit?!'

Other young starlets like Myley Cyrus, Demi Lovato and Lindsay Lohan have hit the headlines recently with issues ranging from addiction, anger management and drug issues.

This woman's identity is not yet known but will surely be damaging to her career if the image of her snorting cocaine is released.

Pregnant Victoria Beckham dresses dark but fails to hide her growing baby bump

Pregnant Victoria Beckham dresses dark but fails to hide her growing baby bump
With pretty pastels and bold colour blocking prevalent in current spring and summer shows, Victoria Beckham is not taking on the trend.

The expectant mother opted instead for an all-black outfit as she arrived at Heathrow airport earlier today.

The expectant mother was looking chic as she jetted into the U.K. but while her dark look could be simply a style statement it is more likely to be a disguise for her growing baby bump.

The fashion designer arrived into London in a loose-fitting top, smart blazer, and over the knee suede stiletto heels.

The 36-year-old kept most of her face covered with a pair of oversized sunglasses from her own collection - even her nails were also painted black.

Her bright gold watch on her left wrist and the chain of her bag were the only elements of her outfit breaking from the colour palette, which is often worn for a slimming effect.

The mother-of-three, who is expecting her fourth child this summer, covered her stomach with a similar handbag to her own Hexagonal Chain crocodile bag, £8,950, from her line, but failed to hide her swelling stomach.

Victoria soon revealed the reason behind her visit to the UK - for a meeting with Range Rover - on her Twitter page.
Last year Victoria was unveiled as the designer of the interiors for the Range Rover Epoque.
She wrote : 'Working with Range Rover. The car looks amazing...
'Sun is shining in London... I feel good! Thank you for such kind messages! Good to be in London.'
Last week speculation surfaced that Victoria may know the sex of her baby after all.
Victoria, who has three sons by footballer husband David, has consistently insisted she had no idea if she is carrying a boy or a girl.
But her footballer husband David, 35, then told pals in New York they did know.
Actress Eva has now booked LA’s Chateau Marmont Hotel for a baby shower in July, when the child is due.
It is thought that Eva visited the famous celebrity haunt last week to ‘put the wheels in motion’.
A source told the Mail on Sunday: ‘They know the sex of their baby, which is helpful for Eva – she plans to fill the suite with balloons, and rumour has it that they will be pink, not blue.’

Jessica Hahn Embarrasses Barbara Walters On The View

JESSICA HAHN was booked as part of 'The View's' week long 'Where Are They Now?' series, but the show's producers weren't expecting the controversy that ensued on Tuesday, reports Cbs News. Hahn rose to prominence in the some twenty years ago after having an alleged sexual encounter with the televangelist Jim Bakker. The story hit the headlines in 1987 and it was revealed that Bakker had been paying Hahn to keep the story quiet. Bakker later resigned from the PTL Club, an organisation he founded in 1975. Hahn has always maintained that the encounter was rape but on Tuesday's show host Sherri Shepherd asked her to speak about "the affair". The 51-year-old took offense and began to address co-host Barbara Walters, saying, "In your book 'Audition' you had an affair with the senator". Hahn was referring to Walter's 2008 book in which she admitted to having an affair with Senator Edward Brooke in the 1970s.
Despite the unexpected jibe, Walters quickly turned the comment back around, saying, "This is about you, my dear. This is not about me, okay? I'm very happy talk about my relationships, but this is about you".

6 New Myth-Busting Rules for Singles

I thought I knew a lot about how singles think and feel. After all, I’ve written about dating and relationships for ten years and my name is Singleton (no, not a pen name).
But the surprising and sometimes counterintuitive results from a new study of more than 5,000 single people are making me question my assumptions and take note. Commissioned by Match.com and led by top researchers, this is quite possibly the most comprehensive survey of singles to date.

The findings reveal what I call Singles 2.0, a new breed of men and women who are defying age and gender stereotypes while shaking up their actions and attitudes toward dating. The facts and figures are striking. But how can they help those on the dating frontlines?
Based on the research findings, there are several real-world implications for singles trying to meet their matches.
Check out these six new and myth-busting rules that’ll help you improve your dating life right now!
Rule 1: Approach single men with fresh eyes
In some ways, this new study could be subtitled: “In defense of the unmarried American male.” Single guys, who have long gotten a bum rap for being commitment-phobes and romantically blasé, are evidently misunderstood. The survey makes it clear: don’t buy into these myths. Men fall in love faster, are more eager to have children for the first time (24% vs. 15%), and when it comes to love, feel just as intensely as women do. The most surprising fact about men may be this: “More men than women would marry a partner they weren’t sexually attracted to,” says renowned biological anthropologist Dr. Helen Fisher. “Shared interests and family are more important.”
Rule 2: Stop thinking that single women are clingy and dependent
I’ve heard from numerous single men who fear that clingy women will threaten their independence. Guess what? Study findings reveal that — across every age group — women in a relationship are more likely than men to hold tight to their own interests, personal space, bank accounts, regular nights out with their girlfriends, and separate vacations. So relax, guys. It looks like we’re the ones who should worry about being overly needy.
Rule 3: Join the crowd and expand your dating pool
Prejudice is waning and singles are more open to dates of different races and religions. A relatively small percentage of men (20%) and women (29%) consider it “very important” or a “must have” to find someone who shares their own ethnic background, while even fewer men (17%) and women (28%) are specifically looking for partners who share their religious backgrounds. “Be part of the future,” says Dr. Fisher. “It’s clear that others are getting rid of their past ideas about the right partner.” For many singles, knowing that the tides are turning may free you up to expand your pool of prospects, too.
Rule 4: Whoa, slow down! Don’t rush to judgment about your date
I have nothing against the lucky few who’ve experienced love at first sight. But what about the rest of us who aren’t immediately felled by Cupid’s arrow? We’re used to going out on a first date and not experiencing the 4th of July fireworks we’re told we must have. The research suggests that success comes if you’re not so quick to throw in the towel. So why not slow down next time and give your date a second chance? “Maybe the single most important finding is that 35% of these people fell in love with someone they didn’t initially find attractive,” says Dr. Fisher. Of this subset of people, “71% grew into the attraction through great conversations, shared interests or both.”
Rule 5: Embrace dating as you age
Conventional wisdom holds that dating success and enjoyment are like a milk carton. They come with an expiration date. According to this new study, singles 65+ report the greatest level of happiness over the past 12 months combined with the least stress over their single status. So relax about being single, older, and dating. It turns out that your love life down the road will be better than you think.
Rule 6: Disavow outdated dating obstacles
Remember all the traditional reasons why you weren’t supposed to date someone? He’s not this. She’s not that. Findings indicate that singles are increasingly disavowing what were once considered romantic hindrances. For example:
  • Myth: Office romances are taboo. This is undoubtedly true in some places and circumstances. But the relative few who engage in office romance seem to be grown-ups who can handle their love lives in ways that don’t affect their work. After breaking up, 56% reported that the romance didn’t affect their professional relationship and 36% would consider dating someone in the workplace in the future.
  • Myth: You’re unemployed and therefore unlovable. Wrong! You’re not a dating pariah. Fifty percent of singles are open to seeing someone unemployed if they found the person interesting.
  • Myth: Single parents are alone on Saturday night. Says who? Single parents go on more dates than singles without kids, and more of these moms and dads are currently dating someone, too.
Amid all the surprising findings, a few results seem familiar. For example, despite their independent streak, women still aren’t comfortable asking men out. “I suspect there are certain aspects of courtship that are never going to change,” says Dr. Fisher. Still, it’s hard to deny how dramatically the dating landscape has indeed changed. But I’m happy to embrace changes that keep me optimistic about romance. How about you?
