She is now enjoying the first few days of married life as Mrs Kris Humphries.
And less than a week after her multi-million pound nuptials the official photographs of Kim Kardashian’s wedding have been published.
The reality TV star poses, without her husband, on the front cover of this week’s People magazine in her stunning ivory custom-made strapless Vera Wang gown.
She is seen holding her cream rose bouquet with her Lorraine Schwartz diamond encrusted headpiece, part of a staggering $10million worth of jewellery by the jewellery maker, glittering on her forehead.
The backdrop for the covershot is lush greenery with pink flowers dotting the across the page.
Speaking about the fairy-tale wedding Kim, 30, said: ‘It was like we were in heaven,’ she told the magazine.
Her proud husband added: ‘I'm going to remember how perfect it was.’
Kim and Kris tied the knot on Saturday at a private home in Montecito, California in front of 450 guests.
Guests including Ryan Seacrest, Lindsay Lohan, Eva Longoria, Mel B, Venus and Serena Williams, Avril Lavigne and Demi Lovato all stuck to the monochrome dress code, which was requested by the bride.
While Kim married in the Vera Wang creation that boasted a full tulle skirt, a basque waist a Chantilly lace-covered bodice and long train, she enjoyed two wardrobe changes following the ceremony.
The ceremony was watched not only by the couple's families, but also celebrity guests including Ryan Seacrest, Lindsay Lohan, Eva Longoria, Mel B, Venus and Serena Williams, Avril Lavigne and Demi Lovato.
The wedding breakfast was made by celebrity chef Wolfgang Puck with a starter of buffalo mozzarella and tomato salad, and a choice of hand-formed agnolotti with sweet corn mascarpone and summer truffles, or roast chicken with Yukon Gold potato puree, caramelized brussels sprouts and summer truffles for the main course.
The wedding came as a big pay day for Kim with People buying the rights for the exclusive photographs for a cool $1.5million.
Add to that her fee for the television footage, which will be aired by the E! network in a two-part special.
Plus, she has already pocketed $300,000 for the engagement announcement back in May and another $100,000 from OK! magazine for the bridal shower photos.
Following the nuptials the newlyweds and their friends and family enjoyed a lavish reception held in a marquee where they partied until the early hours of the morning.
Kim and Kris are now enjoying a short break in Europe before they relocate to New York starting a new life as husband and wife.
