Flying pig used to recreate Pink Floyd Animals cover. An inflatable pig was used to create a real-life replica of the cover of Pink Floyd's 1977 album Animals yesterday.

To mark the re-issue of the band's 14 studio albums, the pig was flown over Battersea Power Station in a recreation of the iconic sleeve designed by songwriter Roger Waters with Storm Thorgerson and Aubrey Powell.

Earlier this year, the cover of the band's 1973 album Dark Side of the Moon was named the greatest of all time.

Surviving Pink Floyd members David Gilmour and Nick Mason joined Waters on stage in May during his live performance of The Wall.
