She denied rumours she is expecting her first child earlier this year.
But it seems Jessica Simpson may just have been keeping mum on her happy news, judging by photographs of the star on holiday in Mexico yesterday.
The 31-year-old star attempted to disguise what appeared to be a baby bump in a loose-fitting animal-print top as she jetted out of Cabo San Lucas yesterday afternoon.
Jessica was first spotted with a burgeoning bump back in July, when her spokesperson came forward to insist: 'She is not pregnant.'
However, In Touch magazine are reporting that Texan is expecting and quotes a source detailing her craving for 'nacho chips dipped in chocolate' to satisfy her urge for 'salt and sweet.'
They also talk of how pleased Simpson is to be expecting another 'guest' at her November 11 Hawaii wedding, despite the fact she will certainly have to let her dress out.
The singer-turned-actress has made no secret of her desire to have a family with fiance former NFL player Eric.
She said earlier this year: 'I definitely see myself having a family with Eric, so that’s exciting to think about.'
The two posed together as they prepared to fly back to Los Angeles and Jessica posted a photo on Twitter with the caption 'Leaving family vacation...'
Jessica and Eric have been on holiday for the past week with her sister Ashlee and friends including Nicole Richie, DJ Samantha Ronson and actress Juliette Lewis.
Ashlee, 26, took the trip as an opportunity to introduce everyone to her new boyfriend, Vincent Piazza.
She filed for divorce from rocker husband Pete Wentz in February; the two have a son, Bronx Mowgli, together.
The younger Simpson sister looked radiant and fashionable on her Mexico trip, pairing a white T-shirt with a long, bohemian skirt and a floppy blue hat.
